Aluminium Oxide (0.7mm) is suitable for our FS EpoxyCoat range of coatings. Depending on the quantity used various levels of anti-slip can be obtained.

Aluminium Oxide can be used in the FS EpoxyCoat l range to provide a good level of slip resistance. The quantity required will be dependent on the level of anti-slip required.

Fine Flint (0.3 - 0.5mm) can be used when a low level of slip resistance is sufficient in our FS EpoxyCoat range or in our FS EpoxySeal range in various quantities depending on the level of slip resistance required. The more aggregate used the more slip resistance. If you are unsure which aggregate to use please give us a call.

Coarse Bauxite (0.9 - 1.4mm) can be used to create a good level of slip resistance with our FS EpoxyCoat range.

This aggregate is angular and so can give a greater level of slip resistance than most aggregates. It will give good slip resistant properties when used with our FS EpoxyCoat range. Amount required will depend on how much slip resistance is required. Please note that using large quantities of this aggregate will give a very profiled finish which will be difficult to clean.

Fine evenly sized quartz aggregate for moderate slip deterent qualities at 0.5kg per 5 litre unit of FS EpoxySeal, or fairly high slip resistant qualities when included in FS EpoxySeal at up to 1kg per 5 litres
Can be supplied in bulk quantites for you to measure out on site to your own requirements.
Can also be used with FS EpoxyCoat and FS EpoxySeal ranges or to bulk out either of these coatings or FS EpoxyPrime for effecting small floor repairs. Call us for further advice.
When using with a coating either mix into the resin prior to application or broadcast into the wet coating and back roll.
Once cured sweep off any surplus aggregate prior to applying a second coat.
If mixed into the product you will need to apply the product quickly to avoid settlement.
